STEAK STIR FRY
-2 1/2 pounds of flank or sirloin steak sliced in 1/2 inch strips (you can use chicken or pork as well)
-2 limes or lemons juiced
-6 cloves of garlic (use less if not a fan)
-2 Tbs. Extra virgin olive oil
-1 & 1/2 Tbs. Chili powder
-1 &1/2 Tbs. Hot sauce
-1/2 tsp. Black pepper
-1/2 tsp. Salt
-1 tsp. Oregano
Marinate in fridge overnight or for atleast 2 hours.
Before you are ready to cook, let the steak rest out of the fridge for 10 min. before cooking.
Veggies:
-1 medium onion,
-8 oz mushrooms (white or brown), sliced or quartered
-1 whole bell pepper (red,green, or yellow seeded and sliced)
-1Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
-3/4 teaspoon sea salt or Himalayan salt
-1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
-1/4 teaspoon paprika
INSTRUCTIONS:
In a large non-stick skillet or wok, stir fry your marinated steak over medium high heat for 3-5 min. Remove the meat from the wok & place on the side on a large plate. Add the oil to the pan & heat for 30 seconds.
Add the veggies with the spices and stir fry for about 3 minutes or until vegetables are crisp & tender.
Add the meat back in the wok, mix all together for 1 minute.
