EASY CHEESY SAUSAGE DIP
Ingredients
- 12 ounces ground sausage (I used chicken sausage links and ground them in the food processor)
- 3/4 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup pizza sauce
- 2 medium jalapeños
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese
- I used the food processor to chop the tomatoes, jalapeños and cream cheese.
Instructions
- In a pan over medium heat, brown the sausage until cooked about 10 minutes.
- Stir in the tomatoes, pizza sauce and the jalapeños and bring to a simmer.
- Remove from heat. Add both cheeses and stir in, then cover the pan and let sit about 5 minutes, to help it melt.
- Uncover and stir until well combined.
- Serve warm with veggies and low carb crackers.
- TIP: I used my mini crockpot to keep it warm
