Low Carb Shredded Brussels Sprouts

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 & 1/2 pounds of Brussels Sprouts, shredded 
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon salt 
  • 2 cloves garlic minced 
  • ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes 
  • 2 Tablespoons nutritional yeast 
  • Drizzle of Balsamic vinegar 

 

INSTRUCTIONS

  • You can buy already shredded Brussels sprouts or you can buy the Brussels sprouts and cut the ends off, rinse them, then either place them in a food processor on pulse. Or shred them using a sharp knife. 

  • Heat a large skillet or frying pan on medium heat and add in the butter. Once melted, add in the garlic, salt, red pepper flakes & Brussels sprouts. Toss to coat them.
  • Cook for 8-10 minutes until they just start to get slightly browned. 
  • Remove from the heat and stir in the nutritional yeast & then add a drizzle of balsamic vinegar.
  • Voilà! Enjoy😋
